Key-aware accidentals · tuplet and rest fixes
Sharps and flats are now chosen to match the key, merged together with fixes for tuplets that start with a rest and unnecessary filler rests. The second piece now passes 54 of 57 checks.
Third piece reviewed · ~60% of comments shipped · logo set
A solo piano piece went through the same review loop, and of the 100-plus comments received across two pieces we fixed and shipped roughly 60 percent (stem direction, clef changes in the left-hand staff, pedal marking placement and more). We agreed to leave out of review what MIDI alone cannot decide, such as repeat instructions and which hand plays a passage. A full logo and icon set is now in place.
Review of a differently scored piece · theory rules for every piece
For a second piece with different instrumentation the reviewer commented on every page; we corrected note grouping, rest writing and stem direction by time signature. Basic theory rules now apply to every piece, and the review screen handles long stretches of rest cleanly.
Notation standards loop completed · fixed review form
Ask the professional → ship the answers → re-verify in the same screen completed a full loop. Rest writing and tempo marking are now product-wide standards, and reviews use a fixed form: spots that must be fixed, correction time to a deliverable, and usable / usable after fixes / not usable.
Revised scores submitted · measurement baseline
Submitted corrected scores to the reviewer, organized the open notation questions, and set up a baseline for measuring match rate against reference data.
Continued expert review
Fixed how note lengths are handled in keyboard parts and prepared change reports and side-by-side score comparisons for two reviewers.
Quality criteria and automated checks
Finalized the quality definition of done through external review, added machine checks for notation, and set up automated tests plus nightly regression runs. Planned the next phase — general music theory and notation rules — and began redesigning how measures are split.
Root-fix for early cut-offs · quality-review foundation
Resolved the bug that cut pieces off partway through. Also began building the system to log, review and keep improving conversion decisions.
Handling broken performance data · clearer scores
Messy performance data can now be automatically detected and fixed. Piano-score rendering was also significantly improved.
Major layout improvements for multi-part pieces
For multi-part pieces such as string quartets, fixed broken measures and content overflowing the page. PDF quality for the main pieces is now stable.
